‘Youtube’ is already a place where anyone can share their special recipes. However, it is about to go even further. The video-sharing website plans on soon launching its latest original content channel: ‘HUNGRY’.

Bruce Seidel, a ‘Food Network’ and ‘Cooking Channel’ veteran, believes that the future of food television is on the internet. The channel will have videos for beginners, as well as celebrity chefs sharing theirknowledge.

After a very successful year, Adele still has more awards to win. During the prestigious ‘Ivor Novello’ ceremony, the singer took home two awards. She was named best songwriter of the year, and her song ‘Rolling in the Deep’ was the most performed work of 2011. Her song ‘Someone Like You’ was also nominated for the ‘Most Performed’ category.

When accepting the award for ‘Rolling in the Deep’ Adele admitted that she ‘never thought the song would do anything, anywhere’.

Think everyone has a Facebook account by now? Think again. The widely popular social network, which has over 900 million users worldwide, still faces resistance from people who believe they don’t need that kind of online interaction with others.

Some say they are already in touch with everyone in their lives that really matter. They do not want to read ‘friends of friends’ updates, or reconnect with that acquaintance from 12 years ago, who they have not missed. Many do not want any added distraction in their lives.

However, Facebook has the challenge to end that resistance in order to expand the website and reward investors who will buy their stocks.

Two out of every five American adults have not joined Facebook.

Google announced on Wednesday a significant change to how their search results will be delivered soon. The company believes their new ‘Knowledge Graph’ will make the search engine ‘think’ more like a human.

Many words people search for can have different meanings and interpretations. “Kings”, for example, could refer to monarchs, a basketball team from Sacramento, or a Hockey team from Los Angeles. With the Knowledge Graph, these results will be divided into categories and placed into different boxes to make the search easier.

The price of the dollar is fluctuating around R$2 this week, 16 percent above the average from 2010 and 2011. Even those in the government who support a devaluation of the real, are afraid that too much change in the exchange rate will have uncomfortable inflationary consequences.

A more favorable exchange rate, where the real is devalued, would counteract the domestic industrial stagnation that has hurt economic growth.

More than 100 abandoned buildings in Rio de Janeiro are in such poor condition that they are at risk of collapsing, the head of a regional engineering agency said Wednesday, a day after part of a two-story building crumbled downtown.

No one was injured in Tuesday's incident, but it was a reminder of the January collapse of three other downtown buildings, which left 17 people dead and five missing, raising questions about Rio's readiness to host the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics.

The Olympic flame has traveled many miles across Greece since it was first lit, on May 10^th. When it arrives in Athens, it will be handed over to organizers of the London Olympics during a ceremony that will take place at the Panathenaic Stadium.

The Olympic commission, which includes soccer midfielder David Beckham, will then fly the torch to the UK today.

Once it gets there, the Olympic flame will then be carried 12,875 Km by 8,000 people, during a 70 day relay, until it gets to The Olympic Park.

The flame will be used to light the cauldron in Stratford’s Olympic Stadium at the opening ceremony of the Games on July 27^th.

On Monday, the U.N. (United Nations) launched a local version of the campaign "The Future We Want," in an effort to mobilize the population for Rio+20, a global conference on sustainable development that will take place June 13 - 22 in Rio de Janeiro.

The material distributed as part of the campaign will include contributions from the general public and from famous people, such as model Gisele Bündchen, writer Paulo Coelho, soccer player Ronaldo, musician MV Bill, artist Vik Muniz, and architect Oscar Niemeyer, all of whom are contributing for free.
